Before the season moves into full gear SMERC released a great new game supporting Dreamworks upcoming release Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom. Kung Fu Panda Home Run Derby is part of a suite of socially connected games SMERC is producing for this fantastic franchise.
Challenge Po to a homerun derby! The goal of the game is to hit as many homeruns as possible! Po will try to strike you out! Select your difficulty level – major or minor league and swing for the fences!
Kung Fu Panda Hoops Madness
Just before March Madness kicked into full gear SMERC released a great new game supporting Dreamworks upcoming release Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom. Kung Fu Panda Hoops Madness is part of a suite of social connected games SMERC is producing for this fantastic franchise.
Take turns with Po shooting hoops in this exciting HORSE style basketball game. Each time you sink a basket, you fill in a basketball. Be the first to score 4 baskets to win! You and Po take shots in this turn-based game as you try to outscore him!!
Hercules: Curse of the Hydra

GTL Jersey Shore Yourself 2
After the smashing success of the original Jersey Shore Yourself for web and iPhone MTV requested that we create a new super duper social connected version. It helped that Virgin wanted to pay for product placement.
So we doubled the number of body types, clothes, accessories, backgrounds and added dancing! We allowed players to add multiple characters and name them after their friends. (We gave them funny names in case they weren’t feeling imaginative.)
We allowed people to upload their creations so others could vote on them. We also gave peopel awards for sharing and then awards for othe rthings but made them share to save. Oh, and we made it a facebook app as well. It was a social bonanza!
MegaMind: Totally Awesome Machine Campaign
MegaMind’s Totally Awesome Machine is the online social gaming campaign for Megamind and is a graduated engagement model that drives interest for the story and the film.
Each player builds a section of the Totally Awesome Machine so that when the game is played the sections flow together and you experience everyone’s contribution. Mini-games are played from the content hub, each one encouraging social behavior and unlocking more content in the central game.
The Totally Awesome Machine was a highly successful piece of the Megamind digital experience that drove engagement and loyalty.
MegaMind:Asteroid Run
When you’re a baby alien lost in space just getting around can be a really challenge, much less making it to your new adoptive planet.
Asteroid Run was part of the MegaMind Totally Awesome Machine gaming campaign with deep social ties. Players race towards earth trying not to run into asteroids, comets, fiery astral objects running or Metroman. They also received awards that unlocked content in the Totally Awesome Machine when shared on social networks.
The campaign was translated into seven languages for world wide penetration.
MegaMind: Brain Bot Command
The skies can get hairy for a brain bot looking to to get back to its secret lair.
Brain Bot Command was part of the MegaMind Totally Awesome Machine gaming campaign with deep social ties. Players click on brain bots and draw a flight line for the bots to follow home without running into Metroman. They also received awards that unlocked content in the Totally Awesome Machine when shared on social networks.
The campaign was translated into seven languages for world wide penetration.
MegaMind: DeBlaster
Knowing what weapon to use for the job is half the battle. Choose from several funny options to save your skin: De-Ice, De-Stroy, De-Hydrate, De-fuse.
DeBlaster was part of the MegaMind Totally Awesome Machine gaming campaign with deep social ties. Players must blast objects that come at them with the correct ray choice. They also received awards that unlocked content in the Totally Awesome Machine when shared on social networks.

Megamind: MegaMatch
We DARE you not to get addicted to this game. It’s a vision of puzzle perfection.
MegaMatchwas part of the MegaMind Totally Awesome Machine gaming campaign with deep social ties. Players are required to match three or more tiles by clicking and dragging a path over them. They also received awards that unlocked content in the Totally Awesome Machine. Players needed to post to a social network to save progress.

MegaMind: MegaShot
Target practice is the best way to work off a little steam.
MegaShot was part of the MegaMind Totally Awesome Machine gaming campaign with deep social ties. Player launched missiles at Metro Man bubbles attempting to pop them all in this physics based game. They also received awards that unlocked content in the Totally Awesome Machine. Players needed to post to a social network to save progress.

As a cross channel strategy, Spike’s Deadliest Warrior has fought its way onto your iPhone and iTouch and Facebook!
Deadliest Warrior: Defend and Conquer has improved upon the best in tower defense gaming. With all your favorite warriors to choose from, Defend & Conquer utilizes the actual battle data from Spike’s hit series and now it’s up to YOU to decide which warriors can defeat a charging enemy.
SMERC created an experience that translates form iPhone to web and back. Each platform implements its own version of microtransaction. On each platform players can purchase access to a forth campaign.
Red Carpet MVP
Red Carpet MVP is a fantasy fashion game that let’s you choose your fave celebs and designers, and earn points for each red carpet appearance.

Discovery’s Last One Standing: Ultimate Athelete Fantasy Game
The Ultimate Althelete Fantasy Game is a social fantasy sports game for reality television.
UAF is a fantasy sports game that ran concurrently with the Ultimate Fantasy Athelete show on Discovery and mirrored the episodic progress of the show.
Users formed leagues, answered quizzes and made predictions each week as to who would do the best in the contest. The game was a robust fantasy sports platform with complete social features.
MTV Music Awards Vegas Casino
SMERC created a hugely successful casino game for the MTV music awards that were held in Las Vegas.
Play your favorite casino games to earn votes for the best New Artist at MTV’s VMAs. Players earned points by playing blackjack, war, and pachinko. They then used those points to vote for the MTV Music Awards Best New Artist of the Year.
SMERC integrated Pepsi seamlessly into each of the games to give the brand sponsor prominent, but tasteful positioning.
Discovery’s Smash Test It
Discovery’s Smash Test It is a hugely successful UGC social game in which users create obstacle course and then publish them for the community to play.
Within weeks users had created THOUSANDS of levels. Years in, and the game is still generating more levels for users to play.
SMERC created the community, the messaging system, all the social features and of course the game itself from scratch.
Moose and Zee’s Balloon Math
It’s a balloon popping-party for NickJr’s Moose & Zee! Help Moose collect the right number of balloons to float up to Zee’s branch, pop them to lower him back down!
Balloon Math is another educational game we worked closely with the Nick Jr team to integrate developmental. This game teaches kids math in a fun setting.
Nick Jr Bingo
It’s not just for retirees anymore! Play along with Dora the Explorer, the WonderPets, Diego, and the Backyardigans in this downloadable hit!
Select a buddy and play against a variety of Nick Jr. characters. Do well and you ‘ll find yourself collecting prizes and playing mini games.
The game has several cognitive curriculum features so that players learn developmental skills while also learning the scream BINGO in ecstasy.
Nicktropolis Games Suite
SMERC created a suite of 10 sports related games for Nickelodeon’s MMO Nicktropolis. These games debuted with amazing success and continue to be very high performing games for Nick.com. Some of these games had initial starts of 3.2 million plays just in the first two weeks!

Nicktropolis is Nickelodeon’s highly successful MMO. SMERC was asked to devise at vingette for highly that mirroed the set of her equally successful show.

Nickelodeon My Room Revolution
How do you combat obesity with video games and get kids moving?
“Let’s Just Play:My Room Revolution” involves a new type of interactive game play that sets goals for the player away from the computer. Users are challenged with performing dance/sport/exercise moves around the room they are in.
Players create their own avatar and customize their play room. The program adjusts to whatever layout the player’s create letting them create a room just like the one they re exercising in!

SMERC built the most popular game Spike has ever had.

MTV Spittin’ Image
T-Mobile Find My Fave Fives
T-Mobile asked us to create a 3-D online experience that could compliment the European Fave 5 campaign.
SMERC answered with a game in which you find your friends in this unique perception bending play. Tilt the world to race towards the next friend and grow your ball of friends. The game was a huge success, garnering high play statistics and viral friend sharing of the game.
Tiki Idol
Dance to beat of the rhythm of the night….! SMERC developed this Dance Dance Revolution style game so that all Tiki lovin’ folk could get their groove on as part of a brand awareness campaign for TikiMon Island.
TikiMon asked SMERC to create a suite of games to help promote the launch of their new brand.

Petpet Park is a massively multiplayer online game that’s centered around the widely successful Neopets. It’s set in an immersive online world where you can customize your pet, take jobs from locals, buy/sell items, hang out with your friends, play single and multiplayer games and more! Petpet Park supports micro-transactions for the sale of virtual goods and integrated into the legacy NeoPets system to support the use of Neocash. It is a highly successful MMO social experience.
Dora’s Number Pyramid Adventure
Help Dora reach the top of the pyramid tosave some adorable animals in this educational game for NickJr! Dora has to travel across three rivers, but at each river she only encounters two numbered animals.. the third has gone missing! Find the missing animal by selecting the number that completes the sequence. Then, help Dora jump across the river by clicking on each animal. When Dora reaches the top, she’ll need some help from a magic star to set the animals free!
iCarly: Skit Scavenger

T-Mobile Find My Fave Fives
Saatchi and t-Mobile were looking for a way to promote their new ad campaign Find You’re Fave Fives in Europe. They teamed up with SMERC to produce the fun and original 3-D online game Find My Fave Fives. In the game you start as a single person rolling around the city looking for your five. By pressing the key board you tilted the city to control your movement. Each time you found a person your ‘ball’ got bigger and the game changed a bit. Find your faves. Find your fun. this game succeeded in taking a tough concept and translating it to online in style.
T-Mobile G1 Challenge
SMERC teamed with TMobile UK through Saatchi to create a game to promote the launch of the G1 Android phone in Europe. In this game you have to play through as many European cities to collect as many location markers as possible. Play either in touchscreen or tilt mode!
The game was a hit and Google liked it so much that they had SMERC release the code for the game as a template for other developers.

Comedy Central Tailgate Games Supermarket 10 Items or Death
It’s a mad dash to get groceries!
Race your way through some mega-deadly grocery isles against your opponent. Pick up the donuts, fruit, and other items along the way for some awesome power-ups that ensure victory over your opponent! Don’t forget, though, you have to pick up those groceries on your list!

this game also made it into box stores. We bought it at Best Buy. We suggest you do the same!
